Group Exercise![]() North Cypress Fitness Center has some of the best professionals and Group Exercise programs in the country to include cutting edge techniques and methods for all levels. With more than 70 classes per week in three group exercise studios, classes are geared for every fitness level and group exercise interest. All group exercise studios are located in the studio area to the rear left of the club. Printed schedules may be found at lobby desk and in the office.

Each PURE class is taught by a Certified Personal Trainer in which he/she will design a circuit that will Guarantee Results! No Two PURE class will be the same giving participants a uniqe change in their fitness goals. PURE is set in a circuit format and participants will move from station to station using Plyometrics, resistance, and cardio movements. ![]() The original barbell class for men and women that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and you choose the weight to challenge every muscle in your body and inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! ![]() Ride to the powerful motions and beats of music in this class. RPM is a Les Mills program designed to give you an intense indoor cycling workout. The music tracks in each class are designed specifically to burn the most calories and give your body a workout from the waist down! ![]() Another fabulous Les Mills program that incorporates Tai Chi, Yoga & Pilates to gain core strength, improve posture & overall flexibility. See the progress you make after only a few classes & burn plenty of calories as you push you body to new lengths. ![]() A short, 30-minute workout that strengthens & tones. Core training is one of the hottest fitness trends in 2011,and CX improves your torso & sling muscles that connect the upper and lower body, & is ideal for tightening the tummy. ![]() Body Combat is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. ![]() NC Barre practices concentrated movements that function as deep sculpting tools to strengthen and lengthen muscles. As a total body workout, this class fuses principles of ballet, Pilates, and yoga to targe body areas in which we all struggle - the core, hips, thighs, booty and arms. A traditional ballet barre is used to help maintain balance and provide resistance, howerer, you will not need a tutu in this class to achieve the long, lean look of a dancer. In addition to the barre, light weights, a core ball, Pilates ring, and a mat are used. This class is perfect for that beginer looking to achieve great results as well as those that are advanced looking for a new way to workout. ****NC Barre Class**** Keep in mind that for the comfort of members attending this class, it is limited to 16 people. Sign up is located at Front Desk. Sign Up will begin 30 minutes prior to each Barre Class. ![]() This class is targeted for seniors and will focus on strengthening muscle, tendons and bones by using small weights and balls as well as resistance balls. ![]() This class is designed for Seniors to help gain and maintain flexibility and balance. ![]() Focuses on learning success, and fun. They run, jump, throw and catch balls, do abdominal curls, jumping jacks, push-ups, learn about fitness and health but most of all they have fun learning and exercising. Ages 7 – 11 ![]() BODY BLAST: A 50-minute interval cardio and core training class for beginner to intermediate. CARDIO MIXER: A high-intensity workout with a little bit of everything for a BIG calorie burn! CORE STRENGTH: A 30 minute workout focusing totally on your abs and core! HI-LO: These classes are geared for healthy seniors. This program is targeted to a senior audience looking to improve their stamina, strength and balance. CYCLING (SPIN): In this traditional stationary cycling class you will feel the burn in your legs up the hills, lose your breath during the sprint to the finish, and drip sweat while pushing through sand! Experience a variety of cycling situations while focusing on speed, power, intensity and technique. Challenge your strength and endurance as you conquer various terrains designed to improve your overall fitness! Please bring a water bottle and towel to class. STEP: Utilizing an adjustable step, these classes bring your cardiovascular workout to new heights. This high-energy interval training class alternates intermediate/advanced step choreography with intensive muscle conditioning for a total-body workout. WATER AEROBICS: A challenging workout in shallow water utilizing aqua equipment to train your cardiovascular and muscular systems. Great cardio with no impact to your bones or joints. No swimming skills required, but comfort in the water is recommended. Perfect cross-training option for any type of athlete. Come join this fun, energetic time in the sun as you get a great calorie burn! YOGA: Guidance through yoga poses focusing on developing an awareness that resides in the inner body. Reawakening the intelligence of the inner body helps to relax and free muscles that are tightly bound. Simultaneously, the practice of yoga will strengthen and tone the whole body.
